The OnePlus Open unveiled last month has eSIM support, but it wasn’t enabled in India. That changes now since the Chinese brand has rolled out a software update expanding the eSIM functionality to India.
The update has firmware version 188.8.131.52 and requires a download of about 300MB. It’s still based on Android 13 but brings system and camera improvements to the OnePlus Open. You can check the screenshots below for the update’s changelog.
The OnePlus Open is OnePlus’ first foldable smartphone. It features a 7.82″ 120Hz folding display and a 6.31″ 120Hz cover display. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, runs Android 13-based Oxygen OS 13.2 out of the box, and has 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage onboard.
Fueling the entire package is a 4,805 mAh battery with 67W wired charging. You can read our detailed OnePlus Open review to learn more about it or watch the video review linked below.
