The v29 comes in four colors – Space Black, Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and this Starry Purple, which is also called Purple Fairy, depending on the market.
The unit we have is the top-of-the-line 12/512GB model but it’s otherwise the same, capable upper-midranger with a Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC, and a 4,600mAh battery and provided 80W charger. There’s also a case and a USB cable in the box.
The purple model is very pretty. Like the blue model, there are subtle waves made of texture in the design of the back panel. They seemingly move when you tilt the phone at different angles.
Unlike the frosted texture on the black model, the purple and blue have a glossy finish.
One of the key selling points of the vivo V29 is the Aura light on the back. It features a separate dedicated set of LEDs that can automatically adjust their temperature depending on ambient light, and you can also tweak it manually if you so choose.
